PDB blogswarm August 6

On August 6, 2001, Drunky McStagger received his presidential daily briefing (PDB) from aide Harriet Miers (above, in a logo designed by Tengrain). In it, he was warned that Osama bin Laden was poised to strike the United States in a terrorist attack of unprecedented proportions.

The president took no action.

Thirty-six days after the PDB, bin Laden did take action.

Thanks to the efforts of FOBO!* Ripley and Blue Gal, among others, Monday's sixth anniversary of the PDB will be marked by a blogswarm, and Blast Off! will be participating.
